We are currently looking to add to our team of Creative professionals based at our corporate office in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Sr Project Manager :
Oversees all projects for the creative department
Incorporates production knowledge, project management, and account management
Works closely with Creative Leads to ensure seamless transition from concepts to output
Collaborates with fellow directors to transfer knowledge and best practices between departments
Serves as bridge between Creative, BET, Production, Finance, and Operations throughout projects
Maintain healthy Creative operations: from building the internal systems to the adoption and enforcement of them. Identify scalable solutions, tools, and processes to improve internal productivity of the business.
Reinforces Creative Vision: regularly works with ECD to improve creative product, review goals and objectives for the department; meets with leaders across the organization to understand opportunities for improvement
Manage workflow: the first point of contact for all requests for new creative work and existing assets. Optimize current system to manage workflow, set priorities and deadlines across multiples brands and stakeholders. Provide transparency into team utilization, workload capacity, and pipeline. Helps to identify mix of Creative staff needed for each business to best deliver the work within defined budget; makes assignments based on skill set, client/team match, and availability
Manage all creative production: partner with Creative Leads, BET, and Producers to lead the process of producing all materials, assets, and experiences. Provide production expertise in a variety of creative mediums and set best practices for routing process, art work trafficking and file set up. Manage all prepress/pre-event process and issues. Act as a first alert system for unanticipated problems, gaps, risks, and opportunities
Grow the team: work with Executive Creative Director to recruit, resource and mentor a multi-disciplinary team to meet the evolving needs of our business. A team of production designers and project managers report to this role. Develop resources that allow us to efficiently manage creative assets across multiple brands. Collaborate with internal teams to develop a network of freelance production and post-production support, and to ensure smooth workflow and payment for any freelancers engaged over the course of a project.
Manage budget and status: including artwork, marketing expenditures, agency spend, and creative production cost. Track and ensure projects remain in scope as they make their way from concept to finish. Coordinates billable hours, utilization, and timesheet entry with Resource Management function, and ensures Creative staff is on track
Manage client relationships: ensure seamless project management and communication on new and ongoing work. Drive schedules and set up a key team member for day-to-day agency management.
Define asset sharing process: help produce brand standards and style guides for all brand systems to share internally and with partners. Liaise with field teams to ensure consistency and quality of creative executions at all levels. Responsible for management of creative asset library.
Deep experience executing marketing strategies across a broad set of mediums. Extensive knowledge of production and process and are aware of new trends and technologies. Can articulate strategy to clients, manage all aspects of the agency/client relationship and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. Great leadership and collaboration skills will be essential to build out a talented implementation team to support marketing, creative, and portfolio of clients within our company
The right candidate will be able to juggle all aspects of print and event production, agency and project management and will be a master at solving problems and juggling schedules. Mentors and leads team to deliver world class marketing experiences.
7+ years contributing to the creative industry, with strong agency experience preferred
5+ years of experience managing people and developing processes and capabilities
5+ years of project management or producing experience
Exceptional cross-group organizational and communication skills
Strong cultural change management experience
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail
