Electrical Estimator Job Description:

JP Electrical has been serving the electrical needs of Utah since 1997. Our highly skilled, full-time team of estimators, project managers, and electricians specialize in all aspects of commercial and residential jobs. Electrical Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate cost estimates
  • Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
  • Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
  • Communicate with customers and team members regarding new and current projects
  • Manage bid pricing from all vendors
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors

Electrical Estimator Requirements:

  • Ability to read plans and specifications
  • Strong computerized estimating skills, detail oriented with a strong focus and ability to multitask,
  • Good organizational and time management skills,
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe;
  • Minimum 5 years estimating in the electrical industry;

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year

  • Electrical: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Project Management: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Estimating: 4 years (Preferred)
