Job Summary:
$18.50 per hour starting .25 extra for Valid MN drivers license.
$2.00 more per hour if you work Full Time Overnights with 78 plus hours every pay period.
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
- Support individuals in community integration and participation in social activities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individuals.
- Implement care plans and document individual progress.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary.
- Work with people with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, childcare, or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to handle various systems for documentation and reporting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to perform tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and personal care assistance.
- Willingness to undergo background checks as required by regulations.
