Responsibilities

This is a senior level position that offers a variety of interesting and challenging opportunities in Instrument and Controls Engineering and will provide an excellent opportunity to advance your career. You will lead a team of I&C Engineers and interface with the discipline engineers on the Project Team and with the client to ensure all client requirements are satisfied.

You will work on major engineering projects for upgrades and modifications to nuclear power plants in the following areas:
Digital Systems:

  • PLC, DCS, Touchscreen displays, network switches and control systems
  • Functional Requirement and Procurement Specifications for control systems
  • Process instrumentation replacement evaluation reports and modification packages
  • Mechatronics, Control Systems for pumps, valves, heat exchangers, steam turbines and reactors to improve the functionality of the client’s plant
  • Attend client meetings and perform site walkdowns to ensure the client is satisfied with our work product
  • Provide guidance as a mentor in the development of less experienced engineers

Qualifications

  • US citizenship or US permanent resident status is mandatory
  • BS degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering for process control systems; Experience in design engineering for nuclear power plant control system is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • PE license preferred, but not required
