Full Job Description
On behalf of VP of Quality Assurance/Quality Control, this position is directly responsible for documenting, managing, implementing and institutionalizing the various Quality Control activities at the project site.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Review Specifications and Contractual Requirements and document/maintain Project Quality Control Plan.
Review all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs)/deliverables for timely completion and 100% accuracy.
Document and/or maintain latest versions of all documentation including but not limited to - Methods of Procedures (MOPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) and Facility Configuration Procedures (FCPs).
Ensure all covered equipment are prioritized based on importance and criticality and routes assigned.
Ensure the type, number, and periodicity of maintenance activities are documented, manpower and staffing assessed.
Ensure the identification and categorization of tasks that are performance by routine maintenance personnel and those tasks requiring specialized skills or tools.
Ensure effective maintenance tasks & mitigation strategies are identified and documented.
Ensure lessons learned based on equipment histories and failures are captured, trended and analyzed to ensure continual refinement of the program.
Through audits, reviews and inspections monitor work to ensure that performance complies with all timelines, deadlines, goals and the most current facility standard
Through audits and maintaining employee training matrix, ensure staff qualifications remain current and valid throughout contract performance.
Through inspections, reviews and audits ensure all keys issued remain controlled items.
Ensure inventory and tracking is maintained of all Assets/Equipment / Materials.
Ensure the identification, investigation, and correction of any non-conforming performance and prevent similar deficiencies in the future.
Ensure documents are controlled and retained as required by MCD policy and PWS/SOW/RFP requirements.
Document the inspection process and perform inspections utilizing appropriate risk-based sampling.
Ensure subcontractors possess a quality assurance and control program commensurate with the services and supplies to be provided as determined by the MCD’s internal audit system.
Document and Execute on any contract/project specific responsibilities not covered in the above items.
Ensure MC Dean customer satisfaction survey program is implemented in conjunction with corporate QA.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Engineering Degree in Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Systems.
Five (5) years of Facilities Operational Maintenance experience with three (3) years in a supervisory role.
Eligible to receive a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance or Active TS Clearance Required.
Strong written and verbal communications skills
