Revenue Cycle Analyst
Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Revenue Cycle Analyst to join our team, dedicated to supporting financial operations in a Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinics. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the revenue cycle management processes and experience in analyzing both existing and proposed services for cost-reimbursed providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate the revenue cycle of existing and proposed healthcare services, focusing on cost-reimbursement models.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to ensure optimal reimbursement, identify areas of underperformance and propose improvements.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to understand service implications on the revenue cycle.
- Develop and maintain reporting systems for tracking revenue, reimbursement rates, denials, and other key financial metrics.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, particularly those affecting Rural Health Clinics and Critical Access Hospitals.
- Manage projects related to revenue cycle and participate in planning sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare finance or revenue cycle management, with specific experience in cost-reimbursed healthcare environments.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including those specific to Rural Health Clinics and Critical Access Hospitals.
