Implement and manage security controls, including encryption, access control, and data protection mechanisms.
Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans.
Ensure system compliance with federal regulations like FISMA and FedRAMP.
Monitor security logs and incident reports to detect and respond to potential threats.
Provide training to USDA staff on security best practices and protocols.
Required Skills:
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, and FISMA.
Strong background in risk assessment and incident management.
Experience with security monitoring tools like Splunk or Qualys
