Take the next step in your career by shaping world-class marketing content across our Macquarie Investment Management division.
As an experienced financial services writer and editor, you will contribute in a variety of ways to marketing content and brand voice — from conceiving and writing to producing thought leadership, and promotional copy, as well as infographic development and interactive content ideas for web and print.
As a member of a small team, you will interact regularly with partners around the globe, and at varying levels of the organization. You will work at times as an author, editor, consultant, and partner for project-based content strategy — with a primary focus on publication tactics, content excellence and the written word. You will be expected to represent the marketing content team and collaborate effectively as you drive content initiatives that support business lines from institutional to retail mutual funds, to retirement platforms.
To be successful you will have 10+ years in communications and 5+ years in financial services, coupled with strong working knowledge of mutual funds and institutional asset management (experience with equity, fixed income, and alternative asset classes is a plus). You will demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and be equally skilled as a writer and editor with strong reportorial skills. You will also demonstrate skill at conceiving and producing everything from sophisticated, academic-level investment content, to promotional copy and infographics, an ability to convey marketing ideas, and work closely and effectively with senior investment personnel, as well as designers, developers, project managers. Finally, you will hold the Series 7 or willingness to obtain within 12 months of start.
