The Director|Human Resources is a key member of Senior Management team who reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for managing all Human Resources functions and supporting/maintaining an employee–oriented culture that fosters service excellence. In the is role, the Director|Human Resources must demonstrate knowledge and experience to provide expert–level guidance in areas of regulatory compliance, organizational development, recruitment, innovation practices, benefits [including health and wellness, pension, etc.], employee relations, payroll, compensation and other areas related to Human Resources management. Prior experience in, or thorough knowledge of, Best Place to Work™ preferred but not required.

Strong time management, analytical, and customer service skills are required, as is a strong initiative and results-orientation, the ability to perform detailed analysis and make high level recommendations. Must have knowledge of current employment law and issues within area of specialty, strong computer skill proficiency [MS Office, Excel, ADP] and interpersonal skills, the ability to clearly and effectively communicate verbally and in writing, in an organized and timely manner and to efficiently manage a material workload. Must also have propensity to think and act proactively and independently to support business activities of in–house and external business partners/stakeholders. SHRM Certification and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, or related field required [Master's preferred], with a minimum of six  years of highly relevant, professional-level experience. Must have at least three  years experience in a leadership position.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting a strong plus.
