POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Business Analyst is primarily responsible to work on Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP-related projects with our local Microsoft provider and internal key stakeholders. They will work closely with departmental stakeholders, IT staff, and the project managers to define key processes, business requirements, and system integrations. It is important that they are experienced documenting business requirements, have the ability to identify gaps between requirements, and have an understanding of system integration tools and technologies.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Elicit, document, analyze and validate business and IT functional and non-functional requirements.
Interview stakeholders in a wide range of functions (Marketing, Sales, Credit, Senior Management, Operations) to define requirements migration of existing processes and data into the new MS Dynamics 365 environment.
Develop business process models and documentation;
Effectively communicate and document business and IT information in line with agreed processes and procedures;
Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with portfolio, IT and business experts;
Develop, define and build technology bias business cases that will enable business and technology change;
Conduct analysis of business issues and challenges;
Participate in business process and technology initiates to improve business performance;
Participate in implementation of new business processes and functions as a result of company initiatives;
Participate in defining technology solutions to solve complex, multidisciplinary business problems with long-term positive implications;
Document functional specifications, conversions, upgrades, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflow;
Translate business requirements into appropriate technical specifications

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:

Willing to take initiative to identify and anticipate improvement opportunities and make recommendations for implementation
Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational and prioritization skills

Commitment to customer service
Working knowledge of databases (i.e. SQL Server); Must be able to run and use SQL queries

QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role
Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Analytical approach to problem solving with several years’ experience in business-related data query/manipulation, analysis, and process modeling.

The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work environment is moderately quiet. Employee must be able to handle strenuous customer deadlines and be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels.
