Analog Design is responsible for designing HoloLens and Windows Holographic, the world's first Mixed Reality computing platform. Our growing team of designers, artists, architects and developers understand the potential of Mixed Reality, and how it will revolutionize the way people work, play and communicate; we are passionate about bringing these benefits to people across the globe.

We’re excited to announce we are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Technical Artist to join the Platform team and help us shape the future of Mixed Reality. You embrace challenges and flourish with solving cutting-edge problems with short timelines. You also build strong relationships across teams and disciplines and are highly collaborative in order to thrive in unfamiliar territory

Responsibilities
Working with Visual Designers, UX Designers, Interaction Designers and Developers to make great 3D Design
Partnering with a Tech Lead to build compelling immersive environments and design realistic characters
Use your specific skills to problem solve and prototype new ideas
To love production and to build something everyday
To help those around you do great work

As part of the Platform team, you will embrace both Art and Technology, ready to work in either domain. You will be seen as an authority in this field, with many teams looking to you for guidance

Qualifications
You’ve spent 10+ years as an accomplished Digital Artist and Lead with Directorial vision
3+ years' experience with strong Environments and Character texturing experience including real-time and/or non real-time, within AAA games or software
Understanding of filmic narrative, strong Design sensibilities
Deep familiarity with Maya
You have deep knowledge with real-time 3D graphic, including the pipelines, technical, perf and power constraints and the mindset to produce excellence with limited resources
Passion for great visual design that shows in your work
Working within a Design Studio
Working in Mari, Houdini, Unity, Zbrush, Substance Designer, Touch Designer
Comfortable working within an environment in which the goals evolve rapidly and technical and design hurdles need to be solved on the fly
