THE ROLE: HR Partner
The HR Partner is responsible for a broad range of human resources activities in support of Vivint’s management and their employees. This position is located in Lindon, UT. The HR Partner will provide support in the areas of employee relations, hire and post-hire on-boarding processes, HR process and policy management, training, and development activities. This position will provide advice and consultative services to Vivint leaders enabling them to make informed business decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:
Partner with department AMs and Managers to ensure policies, processes, training, and talent management are aligned with achieving desired business results and maintaining a compliant workforce.
Interpret, communicate, and deliver HR solutions for employees.
Manage employee relations activities through effective management and communication.
Coach and counsel business leaders in the areas of employee relations, performance management, discipline, career development.
Act as a neutral and approachable HR representative and lead HR Investigations related to Title VII, harassment, fraud, and unethical behavior, including interviewing, documenting, and preparing a recommendation to business leaders.
Follow up on various employment duties such as Unemployment claims or legal issue resolution.
Improve HR practices, for consistency and efficiency as well as provide recommendations for innovative and value-added HR programs; leading the implementation and evaluation of such programs.
Ensure compliance with employee onboarding.
Maintain HRIS database (Workday) to ensure consistent and reliable employee information.
Proactively identify inefficiencies and provide process improvement recommendations; leading the implementation and evaluation of process improvements.
Compile and analyze HR metrics (employee turnover, employee engagement, exit feedback), provide insight and recommendation to business units for employee experience improvements.

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource or related field preferred.
6+ months of experience in an HR generalist/partner role or 1-3 years in an Operations Management role. Experience in a contact center preferred.
Basic knowledge of Employment Law (FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, etc.)
Experience using MS Office such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
