Sodexo Health Care has an exciting career opportunity for a General Manager to lead our team at Beth Israel Medical Center, a large teaching hospital in Boston, MA. Sodexo provides best in class food and nutrition services for patient dining, retail café operations and on-site catering. The selected individual will be responsible for Leveraging Sodexo Systems, Financial Outcomes, and Patient Satisfaction for this 600 bed account.

This position is responsible for ensuring that all planning, organizing and implementation activities fully support the Sodexo Brand. Patient Dining Program is Sodexo AYR (At Your Request), Retail programs include Sodexo's Mindful program, and there is a high volume catering program at this facility.

The ability to articulate ideas, thoughts, opinions, professionally and clearly within all levels of the organization is critical. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:

Integrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted adviser and member of the accounts leadership team
Manage departmental costs
Achieve continuous improvement in patient satisfaction scores
Ensure Sodexo standards of operations (Gold Check)

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree
