The Managed Care litigation practice group is looking to hire an Illinois licensed Associate to join our Chicago office. This industry focused group represents the leading health insurance and managed care companies throughout the United States in a wide range of cutting edge matters including governmental investigations, disputes with medical providers, contractual disputes and class actions. Candidates should have 2-4 years of law firm or relevant in house experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, excellent academic credentials and strong writing, research, analytical and verbal communication skills. Health care or insurance defense experience is a plus, but any lawyer with solid basic litigation skills and a willingness to commit to and learn the practice is encouraged to apply. Candidates must have experience handling multiple cases, and ability to serve as the point person on litigation, including coordinating with other associates and staff and acting as client contact. Deposition and courtroom experience required.
