The HR Generalist role will be part of Samsung Electronic America’s People team in support of the Mobile Retail Operations organization, a field based organization of team members who support our Retail customers. S/he will report to the Sr. Manager of Retail Operations HR and will:
• Work with Field Sales leaders and employees in support of team related HR needs and processes.
• Support client groups in all annual HR processes such as talent management, performance management, promotion process, and year-end compensation process
• Provide business and HR leaders with sensing of the mood and environmental challenges; conduct intake sessions related to employee relations concerns
• Support change management, training and reorganization efforts
• Manage projects and/or programs of local HR and Engagement initiatives
• Initiate workforce management processes in Workday (e.g., requisitions, positions, terminations, etc.), validate system data (e.g., title, work location, supervisor, division head) and provide reporting as necessary
• Provide feedback to COEs about program and policy effectiveness; partner with them to implement solutions
• Collect and compile the teams’ headcount requests in preparation for the hiring steering committee’s meetings
• Support transitions of leaders into the organization by providing the information they need about their teams and facilitating leader assimilations
• Support employee exits both administratively and to smooth transitions including exit interviews.
• Act as the first point of escalation for the HR Service Center
• Support the preparation for monthly HRBP calls and quarterly HRBP face-to-face meetings
• Prepare presentations/templates for events/initiatives/policies (e.g., Division Town Hall, SCI, form letters, etc.); works with legal to review as necessary
• Partner with GA on office locations changes (e.g., teams in Dallas are moving work locations and HRBP is working with GA on this)
• Ad-Hoc situations (e.g., Corp Rep team needs assistance identifying individuals within HR to assist with Day of Service activities at the various locations)
• Support the preparation efforts for team building activities across the organizations the team supports
• Manage onboarding (S2 to S5)
• May support site specific initiatives such as health fairs, Take Your Kids to Work Day, Employee Appreciation day

• Generally requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum 3-5 years related experience
