We're looking for a talented sales engineer to work collaboratively with our sales and marketing team to ensure we are designing and scoping the best possible solutions for each merchant we work with on the Magento Commerce platform.
As a Magento sales engineer at Creatuity, you will formulate recommendations to merchants and transform business needs and requirements into a scope and budget to ensure each client has appropriate expectations at the start of each project.
You will also help guide our marketing team to understand the latest trends in merchant requirements and changes in commerce technologies to ensure we are producing relevant, interesting and topical content in all of our marketing channels.
Works with sales team members to review, analyze and document business requirements essential to creating the foundations of a complete eCommerce solution as shared by potential clients
Analyze these requirements to determine possible solutions to meet the requirements and a rough ballpark of the cost to implement those solutions
Formulate recommendations and assist the client with business decisions
Convert these ballparks, requirements and recommendations into a concise list of deliverables for each merchant to review and approve
Work closely with our business development resources in order to define opportunities and leverage growth with commerce solutions expanding across existing clients and new opportunities
Communicate with prospects and clients to outline why our proposed solution is the best approach
Advise our product coordinators regarding Magento technical matters in an easy-to-understand manner
Detail-oriented and highly organized while working across multiple projects
Eager to learn & constantly innovate
Analytical thinking focused on data-driven problem solving
Knowledge of discovery and business analysis processes
Understanding of technical solutions related to computer programming (you don't have to be a developer, but you should be comfortable talking to developers about their work)
Expert-level understanding of eCommerce, including SEO, omnichannel merchandising, etc.
Experience in delivering customer oriented features in a technologically enabled environment
Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a changing environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Magento Certified Solution Specialist certification and/or multiple years of experience working with the Magento platform
Experience working as a Business Analyst/Architect/Project Manager in an ecommerce environment
eCommerce strategy experience
Familiarity with the various Atlassian tools such as JIRA
