WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
The National Events Manager’s (NEM) primary role is to direct, drive, and innovate BKB’s events strategy and experience across all business functions and facilities, for new and existing concepts alike. With events and new facilities as a foundational piece of growing the BKB Brand, the NEM role will be at the forefront of driving and showcasing our Brand. This includes creating and progressing programming, standards, operating procedures for events, signature events, event strategy, partnership strategy, and overseeing group booking for existing facilities. This also requires product growth including oversight of events revenue, budgets, assets, and participation across all facilities with support from local General Managers and Event Coordinators. The National Events Manager resides on the Marketing Team but works closely with the Product Team.

YOU WILL:
Head event strategy and partnership strategy, creating a long term vision for the role that events play in bringing the BKB brand to life
Create, evolve, evaluate and innovate all event programming, institutionalizing the Events strategy and playbook with local teams
Create group booking strategy at facilities and collaborate with local Events Coordinator who will lead execution
Create training for local Event Coordinators and General Managers including but not limited to staffing, event logistics and execution, customer experience, and more
Build and implement staffing standards that maximize efficacy and customer experience
Create and maintain Events (including press, filming, permitting, and city coordination) standards, guidelines, policies, and a departmental vision to be executed and scaled across all facilities
Co-create with the Marketing Team to drive marketing and branding initiatives
Create a framework for goal setting and events analytics
Create a strategy and playbook for offsite events and activations
Collaborate with other product departments, mostly to co-create standards for departmental events, including logistics. However, those departments are responsible to lead the event, meaning being the primary point of contact and oversight for the event.
Events Coordinator to manage marketing execution of these events
The National Events Manager interacts directly with the VP of Marketing for marketing support and collaborates closely with the VP of Marketing on brand building focused events

YOU HAVE:
5-7 years of proven experience in events, production and/or marketing
Bachelor’s degree
Experience with Wordpress and email systems (Mailchimp, Emma, Hubspot) a plus
Knowledge and experience in all aspects of marketing and event production
Understanding of basic business practices: budgets, ROI, revenue driving, tracking, reporting
Excellent attention to detail and can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well independently
Ability to take risks and think “BIG”
Passionate about the outdoors, lifestyle brands, arts, music and creating memorable consumer experiences and communication. Climbing experience is a bonus!
