Full Job Description
As an IT Business Analyst, you will be working closely with all Business groups, end-users, project managers and software developments to create and deploy custom applications. This position will be participating in every stage of the ERP and CRM application developments and act as the team’s subject matter expert regarding the project’s business knowledge. This role will provide support to the development team by answering questions and participating in peer reviews. This position will also provide quality and business value to the end-users.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Data analysis/SQL query experience
Experience prioritizing backlogs
Applications Support (SEI, Sage, SQL, Procession and Salesforce CRM)
Crystal reports management (creates, edits, documentation generated by Sage)
Create & modify business intelligence reports in Sage Enterprise Intelligence (SEI)
Special projects (scanners, GHS, requisition approval system, etc)
Troubleshooting common issues in Sage X3, CRM, Sphera, GHS and SEI
Sage and SEI account management (activation, deactivation, permission management)
Product setup and management for Linden products, product-sites, and BOMs
SQL Queries, data and table management
Testing all large-scale data imports into Sage X3 and Procession
Installation, training, and troubleshooting for SEI Excel add-in
Troubleshooting (printers, computers, VPN, networking, programs, etc)
Daily production support on Zendesk system
Supervision:
This position has no direct reports.
Required Education, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Experience working with end-users to understand their business processes and requirements to work with the development team to design functional solutions
Experience analyzing and developing methodology, including acceptance criteria and test scenarios
Experience effectively conveying information to audiences of all skill levels and improving transparency
Must be able to build trust with business group and end-users to elicit desired functionalities from documented business and functional requirements
Proficient in utilizing user-centered design methodologies to solve technical problems
Experience creating and maintaining process maps and data flow diagrams
Must be self-motivated with a desire and drive to continuously learn and grow as a professional and as an individual
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience using tools (such as Jira, Confluence, or TFS)
