The Quality Technical Consultant creates value from data by using domain knowledge, quantitative analytic methods, machine learning and or associated digital technologies. This position is expected to work collaboratively with a team of data and business analysts to solve complex business problems. Will serve as a technical expert and provide thought leadership to advance product quality, safety, and performance, through automation and digital transformation.
Serve as technical expert, provide thought leadership, and create value from data by using domain knowledge, quantitative analytic methods, machine learning and or associated digital technologies.
Build AI tools, predictive models, data visualizations, and data analytics including text analytics and NLP to solve business problems.
Research and analyze data for patterns and clusters and formulate hypotheses to help provide insights.
Lead Quality digital transformation projects with the objective of achieving quality, reliability and cost improvements.
Serves as a coach, trainer & supports development of more junior associates.
Interact frequently with leaders and functional peer group of technical experts.
Perform as a thought leader within the data science domain and expertise designing and automating data mining and analytics.
Experience using Machine Learning, data modelling and structuring data and applying state-of-the art data analytic tools.
Programming skills in Python and/or R programming, SQL, Tableau, and other state-of-the art data analytic tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to mentor a team of employees.
BS in science or engineering.
5 plus years experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years Data Science experience applying machine learning methods and analytics to solve product or business problems.
