Program Overview:

The Discover Internship Program is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects in a sought after work environment and culture. Program participants will experience:

Managers experienced in both business excellence and people development

Additional Program Highlights:
Fully-furnished apartments for the duration of the internship

Business Internship Track:
The Business Internship Program (BIP) is an exciting 12 week internship, for highly motivated individuals who are interested in gaining a foundational understanding of the many facets of the financial services industry, particularly pertaining to the credit card business and the Discover Global Network. As a BIP, you will be immersed in a culture focused on creating end to end customer value through breakthrough strategies and continuous improvement. You will work cross-functionally with teams on projects directly aligned with the companys 3-year strategic plan. You will be encouraged to be curious and challenge the status quo while using data and analytics to help solve problems and drive innovation.

Skills:
Basic Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in an accredited Bachelors Program, with a scheduled senior year completion date by June 2021. Business related disciplines are helpful, but all majors are eligible for consideration. A strong interest in marketing, data and analytics, and process improvement is highly preferred.
Must have a graduation date between December 2019 – June 2021
A minimum of a 3.0 GPA on 4.0 grade point average scale

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate ideas into clear prioritiesHigh energy and intellectual curiosity

Exposure to financial services industry, marketing, operations, risk management, and business metrics
Exposure to SQL, SAS
Proficiency in visual data management, i.e. Excel, TableauExperience with Digital Design and Customer User Experience

Ability to apply previous experience and knowledge to new situations and problems
