American Para Professional Systems, Inc. (APPS-Portamedic) is the largest provider of medical underwriting information to the insurance industry. Incorporated in 1973, we continue to focus on offering national coverage with a personal touch through our network of over 100 locally staffed branch offices. Our technology, such as the "Smart" electronic exam, enables us to supply data to our insurance customers in a quick and accurate manner. As we continue to grow and lead the industry, we are looking to add dedicated medical professionals our team in the greater Pittsburgh area.

We are seeking skilled medical professionals: nurses including RN's and LPN's, Medical Assistants and Phlebotomists, to join our Pittsburgh team of mobile insurance examiners as Independent Contractors.

The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in phlebotomy, with a minimum of two years of recent experience. Since we see healthy insurance applicants in their homes or places of employment on a daily basis, the candidate should enjoy meeting new people and have reliable transportation.
