In this high visibility role, you are a critical function in supporting our sales team's Incentive Compensation program. Help design and drive the process while partnering closely with sales leaders.
Summary
Provide analytical support/calculate incentive compensation for the Baxter sales force.
Responsible for assisting in the design/development of annual sales budgets, incentive compensation and contest plans, and database management and creation.
Must possess excellent interpersonal/communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, internal Commercial Operations functions, Human Resources, Finance and Field Sales.
Key Responsibilities
Work with team members, Finance and Sales Management on the design and development of annual sales territory and region budgets.
Communicate with Field Sales to understand customer needs and business opportunities.
Prepare and publish monthly Budget vs. Actual reporting packages to Field Sales as well as monthly reporting packages to Sales Management.
Calculate and submit incentive compensation to Payroll for Field Sales.
Design and develop reporting and analysis for Field Sales and Senior Management.
Incentive Compensation database management and creation.
Execute on payment validations and adjustments to budgets and/or sales data to ensure accurate incentive compensation payments.
Analyze and make recommendations on business issues and opportunities.
Participate in process innovation to develop and identify procedural gaps, drive for improvement, create efficiencies, eliminate waste and enhance customer satisfaction.
Adhere to compliance with internal procedures and processes.
Critical Experiences and Attributes
Advanced skills in Access required.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and database management required.
Demonstrates ownership and accountability for delivering timely and accurate results.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills is essential.
Dedication to meeting and/or exceeding expectations of internal and external customers.
Cognos and/or advanced reporting preferred.
Eagerness to develop innovative solutions through the use of digital technology.
Proficiency with Sales Performance Management (SPM) tools such as Xactly and IBM/Varicent.
Education and Experience
BA/BS required
4+ years of experience in Finance, Operations or related field
Incentive Compensation experience preferred
