We are looking for a California Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric team at a Murrieta Acute Care Hospital.
Responsibilities:

Independently evaluate the functional ability of patients through the administration, interpretation of standardized tests, clinical observation, and patient/family interview.
*
Create individualized treatment and educational plans and provide patient/family counseling and training.
*
Develop and implement innovative and specific treatment plans to maximize the patients functional potential or return to previous level of functioning, based on clinical findings.
*
Consult with their medical team and allied health professionals and document all pertinent clinical findings to render a comprehensive, family-based, or individual intervention plan.
*
Must have proficiency in the care of patients with feeding and swallowing impairments is often needed.
Requirements

Experience in pediatric feeding and swallowing difficulties with pts ranging from 8months up is essential, 0-7 months preferred; experience with swallowing disorders.
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program OR Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program if graduated prior to 2004
- 3 years of experience required.
- Experience in pediatric general developmental therapy
- CA OT License or eligible if new grad/licensed in another state.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
- All on-site travelers are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19
