Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced cad artist who has a keen eye for creating trendy fashion prints, geos, stripes and conversational
patterns that are relevant to the Golf Industry and Our Brand. This person must be a creative thinker who has industry
knowledge of building interesting and unique repeat patterns. They also must be able to build factory ready artwork and pitch sheets
to be communicated to our print houses for development through production ready artwork.
Title: Print Textile Designer
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Design team to conceptualize and brainstorm textile print ideas, and application of patterns on products.
- Pull together concept inspiration for print and pattern ideas and present to creative director and design team.
- Illustrate, design & color all seasonal textile patterns, present for collaborative edit process to build collection.
- Create jacquard pattern artwork or other fabric/yarn incorporated pattern designs.
- Prepare all artwork pitch sheets complete with full repeat to scale art, Pantone matched color codes, print direction
recommendation and dyed ground or printed on white.Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in textile design, fine arts, graphic design or a similar field.
- Experience in the retail or wholesale sector creating prints or textile patterns.
- Natural talent for illustration, painting, drawing and a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with market research and exploring the competitive landscape specific to the apparel industry.
- Full understanding of print processes for fabrics and garments, ie Roller prints, sublimation & screen printing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
