Data Entry Clerk
Reports to the Supervisor, Claims Service and under general supervision accurately enters claims information including claim numbers, date received, first date of service, diagnosis codes, and provider information into the system in a timely manner.
Perform data entry of equipment orders into the departments database. Requires accuracy, attention to details and working at a computer for long periods of time.
High School diploma or equivalent
Work requires basic PC and data keying experience. Medical terminology or familiarity with medical claims is a plus.
A minimum of two years of data entry or keying experience, with at least one year of that keying experience being medical-claim related; i.e. claim data entry, member ID verification, etc.
