SAS has an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor that will be responsible for assisting in leading the designated department within the DC.

Education & Experience Requirements

Some college or equivalent experience.
1-2 years of supervisory experience.
Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and especially Excel).
Experience with ERP/MRP in a warehouse environment is required. (Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus).
Learn and understand the new ERP/MRP system in order to develop efficient and effective processes for warehousing and material handling.
Work with management and outside consultants to help coordinate the setup and operations of the new ERP/MRP system.
Experience with training and writing training documents.
Fluent in conversational Spanish is very helpful, but not a job requirement

Job Responsibilities

Experience with RF stocking and picking.
Work with management to develop short and long term strategies for warehousing.
Communicate with warehousing leads regularly to understand the status of warehousing operations and to provide guidance and direction.
Create and develop written procedures and training materials for their designated warehouse responsibility.
Coordinate and communicate with other department managers to identify and resolve operational issues.
Assist in managing employee hours to stay in compliance of company standards
Involved in all aspects of inventory control to achieve company goals.
Lead the DC to be efficient and productive
Direct and lead all projects designated to the area of responsibility.
Must be willing to learn and help direct the Department of responsibility in the DC.
Must be experienced in leading groups to achieve company goals.
Responsible for Analyzing Data to assist in efficiencies.

Mature, responsible, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to sit or stand/walk for 8 – 10 hours.
