ManTech is seeking a talented and motivated multi-disciplined and customer-oriented Staff Systems Administrator in support of multiple secure Windows based WAN and LAN Information Systems. Main operations and maintenance performed in Chantilly, VA. The Systems Administrator will support the Garrison Service Desk team. The ideal candidate will want to be exposed to and gain experience with multiple technologies and grow their career.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Providing system administration support for Microsoft technology to include Windows 2008/2012 R2 Server, SharePoint 2010, Active Directory, DHCP, WSUS, Exchange 2010 and Windows 7/10
Providing system administration support for VMware VSphere 6.x, Symantec BackupExec, VEEAM, McAfee AV
Providing excellent troubleshooting skills for the server and workstation (desktop) environment and ensuring end users are very satisfied with support received
The ability to continuously learn new technology and technical skills
Opening and resolving end user support tickets in a timely manner
Investigating and resolving operational problems helping ensure optimal system performance
Assisting with CONUS site deployments and site maintenance
Requires Bachelors degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and two to four years of related experience.
DoD 8140/8570 IAT level II qualified; minimum Security+CE required
IT certification required
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
Must be open to up to 10% annual travel CONUS
Valid US Drivers license required
US Citizenship, active TS clearance and active SCI or SCI Eligibility required
