Western PA Regional Coordinator

PA Frontline Healthcare Training, Inc, a newly formed for-profit organization focused on providing training opportunities for front line workers and managers, is seeking to hire a full time Regional Orientation Coordinator in Western Pennsylvania. This position will work under the direction of the Program Director to design, implement, and facilitate orientation sessions for direct care workers in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise the work of orientation instructors who work on a casual basis, ensuring they have what they need to conduct Pre-Service Direct Care Worker Orientation sessions, confirming quality facilitation is being provided and that accurate records are being kept
  • Locate and secure space in communities for orientation sessions to be held
  • Develop a regional schedule (times, locations, assigned instructors) for sessions that meet the needs of participants throughout Western PA
  • Work in partnership with enrollment specialists who enroll the participants for sessions with scheduling needs
  • Instruct at least one orientation session per week and as needed
  • Deliver appropriate marketing and outreach materials
  • Build relationships with local community organizations, support groups, and other stakeholders
  • Provide reporting and tracking of attendance at sessions and enter in database
  • Help develop/improve curriculum as needed
  • Manage program for quality and cost effectiveness
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred. Special consideration to candidates with a degree in education, counseling, human services, healthcare or related area
  • Minimum of one-year experience teaching or training, preferably with adult students using knowledge of adult education principles
  • One year’ experience in workforce development, adult education, human services or healthcare
  • Experience working with people with disabilities and knowledge of independent living a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Bilingual Spanish speakers highly desired
  • Valid PA driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends
  • Ability to travel extensively within the Western Pennsylvania region

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 /year
