Business Development Representative
Cosential is looking for aggressive Business Development Representatives that will pound the phones to properly introduce our value proposition and brand exclusively to the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (“AEC”) industry across the United States and Canada. This is a fantastic company to grow into if you’re dipping your toe into sales or perhaps have 2-3 years’ lead-generation experience.

We’re lead by accomplished professionals with proven success in several markets including SaaS, ADTech, MarTech, Hardware, Marketing/Media, and much more. Cosential is a purpose-built CRM and Proposal Management software that has deep brand recognition and is well-received in the industry and organizations we serve. No other CRM can touch the practical workflows or customized solutions we have built for AEC firms. Our clients sell “experience” as their product and Cosential helps them do it better, faster, and smarter.
The right candidate will be a quick, independent learner with a passion to work hard with fierce tenacity. The market we prospect is rich, deep and wide; but, requires effort to till. The right candidate will be a key player within a team of seasoned sales professionals. The best candidate will kick doors down and find diamonds in the rough. The right candidate will establish rapport with prospects and make appointments for Account Executives to offer demonstrations. The right candidate will call hot, warm, cold and ice-cold leads using several resources and they will have the freedom to reach out for more. Our ideal BDR must have an innovative spirit and thick skin, as well as hunger for wins. The best candidate will work alongside fantastic leaders to help develop and utilize new processes. Our ideal candidate will be creative and flexible, as well as be able to pivot live on calls. We expect our best candidate to provide new ideas when warranted, adapt to change and contribute, fine-tune processes and procedures as the business grows. We expect the right candidate to be a team player while still making sure to meet their goals individually.
Cosential requires the ideal candidate to reside and work in Austin, Texas at Cosential headquarters, reporting directly to the Director of Business Development. No relocation packages available. Position starts in July/August 2018. This is a full-time role with competitive salary+commission packages and benefits.
Making high-volume phone calls, writing/sending emails and creating leads. Having informative and productive conversations to high quality prospects. All efforts are made with the goal to set appointments for account executives and bring brand awareness to AEC firms expanding our presence in the market. Participate in special projects and assignments. Some travel may be required to represent Cosential at tradeshows and events around the country.
