Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking an Engineering CAD Designer in Lynnwood, WA to join our high performing Aerospace Sensing Components & Systems Team.

As our next Engineering CAD Designer, you will partner with a team of engineers to analyze engineering design specifications and customer requirements. You will participate in design of new products, support initial fabrication of new products and resolve manufacturing problems of mature products.
Engineering CAD Designer Essential Duties:
Perform complex technical design tasks using computer aided design (CAD)
Review all sketches, layouts, engineering circuit and mechanical designs, customer and specifications
Make final tooling design decisions to provide cost effective tooling for product fabrication
Check and approve drawings
Participate in design reviews
Serve as Primary CAD focal point and establish a CAD drawing database
1-2 years of electro-mechanical or printed wiring board design
Drafting design skills - CAD
Ability to read and understand blue prints and written work instructions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan and organize the complete drawing package for a design project.
Ability to check materials and components selected
AA degree in technically-oriented discipline (Engineering Technology, Math, CAD, etc) or equivalent experience
Must be a US Person under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to be eligible.
Must be flexible to work over-time and weekends as needed
Working conditions are normal for an office/manufacturing environment.
