The Minneapolis College of Art and Design offers 30-credit master of arts programs in sustainable design and graphic and web design. The degrees are awarded upon successful completion of 10 courses completed over two or three years. Both programs are fully online with students and faculty residing all over the country.
Sustainable design course content includes sustainable design theory and practice, systems thinking, biomimicry, product design, packaging, visual communications, business leadership, and innovation.
Graphic and web design course content includes ideation, design history and theory, typography, motion design, and web design and development.
Professional designers, web developers, and sustainability experts are invited to apply for teaching assignments (typically one course per semester) in these exciting programs. Those applying do not need to reside in Minnesota. Graduate degree or an equivalent combination of degree and professional experience required.
To apply, send a letter of application, a curriculum vitae, the names and phone numbers of three professional references, a URL and/or a PDF of professional and student work (if available) with "Master of Arts Teaching" in the subject line to firstname.lastname@example.org.
