Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
12 years of consumer brand marketing experience in the technology space.
Experience in e-commerce, retail marketing, or similar fields.
Experience shaping and launching user experiences through actionable insights and recommendations.
Ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
Ability to influence at all levels, especially senior stakeholders, and work effectively across functions and geographies.
Ability to analyze and distill data (e.g., market, user behavior) into actionable insights and relevant product features.
Excellent communicator with a bias to action, an agile and creative problem solver, highly organized, and able to build effective partnerships across functions.
About the job
In this role, you will lead the B2C Marketing team that works on Google Shopping. This role combines deep product marketing skills, brand marketing, engagement marketing, and partner marketing with relationship building and team management. As Director of Marketing, you will shape product roadmap decisions, influence feature development, and develop core positioning and messaging. You will manage a team that’s responsible for all aspects of core product marketing, including insights development, feature readiness, product quality for international launches, product messaging, and feature discoverability. You will also work closely on brand marketing to crystallize product messaging in campaigns. You’ll set marketing strategy, organize resources against key priorities, and partner with cross-functional leaders to shape overall strategy.

Drive awareness, consideration and use of Google Shopping and its features.
Develop and scale Google Shopping’s consumer engagement efforts across multiple channels and geographies.
Advocate user insights and exercise thought leadership to inform and inspire the direction of Google Shopping.
Build and grow awareness of the Google Shopping brand by developing and activating keybrand campaigns - from strategic positioning to creative development and execution.
Build effective relationships with leaders across Product/Engineering/Research/Business Development teams and cross-functional partners to deliver exceptional brand and product experiences.
