Create and maintain files for depositions, medical records and expert witnesses.
Provide additional filing assistance to secretaries on an as needed basis, i.e. trial notebooks.
Log in and file billings for all attorney on a monthly basis, as well as copying backups requested for billings.
Set up files for new cases and maintain files for existing cases.
Shuffle files in cabinets as necessary.
Pull, box, and prepare indices for cases to be closed.
Provide copying assistance on an as needed basis to legal administrative assistants and attorneys to meet deadlines, i.e. collating/assembling various documents (billing invoices, file documents, pleadings, and legal research).
Occasionally locate, pull, and copy case law for attorneys.
Filing and maintaining invoices paid and certified mail receipts.
