Our interns will apply their education to meaningful projects in a team environment alongside a technical mentor. You will be exposed to many levels of management within our company concluding with an end of summer presentation to the executive team. Throughout the summer you will have the opportunity to acquire technical and professional skills, to participate in team building activities, and to enjoy social events in the Rocky Mountain region.
Internship Position Description
The Colorado Design Center (CoDC) within Technology Solutions and Development (T&SD) Division is looking for an intern with excellent technical writing skills to join our team. As CoDC is a center composed of various skill sets, this internship will allow you to be shoulder to shoulder with experienced Ricoh teams composed of writers, UI/UX designers, software engineers and architects working on a wide range of both software and hardware products. You'll have exposure to the end-to-end Agile software development process, including concept design, and code/documentation development and testing. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with a global team that supports leading edge technology products. Most importantly, you'll gain experience in a real-world environment that will prepare you for the rest of your life.
The successful intern candidate must be familiar with core concepts within their respective field and have had coursework in those respective areas. He/she must be able to work as part of a large team and have a positive, cooperative, and dedicated attitude.

Excellent command of English with excellent writing and communication skills
Aptitude to read and extract pertinent guidance and reference material from technical specifications.
Required Skills (Technical Writing)
Experience in technical writing / information development
Understanding of information design and development concepts
Portfolio of class/work experience
Experience with user interface design principles for web-based applications
Knowledge of Agile development methodology (Scrum)
Education / Certifications:
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Technical Writing, English, Technical Communications or a related field of study.
Student must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or enrolled to continue their education in an accredited graduate program.
Intern will be exposed to a fast pace development environment. He/she will be a member of a team that is structured to support software development, hardware development, and national language support for all products within the division's portfolio. They will gain the experience of working with a team composed of diverse cultures as a segment of the team is in Romania and the team works closely with various Ricoh Japan departments.
Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Students are to successfully complete all required screenings prior to hire
