At the Loudoun County's Department of the Treasurer, our mission is to serve the citizens of Loudoun County by educating and disseminating information in a courteous and efficient manner. The Loudoun County Treasurer's Office is seeking highly qualified applicants for a Cashier II to work as a front counter Lead Cashier in the Leesburg and Sterling offices.
The successful candidate will have experience using an integrated cashiering system, balancing a cash drawer, operating standard office machines and computer systems. They will also be required to demonstrate knowledge of customary cashiering operations to include verifying, receiving, and processing tax payments, collecting departmental revenues and responding to questions regarding tax bills, tax rates, tax payment deadlines and other general county governmental information. Additional duties include overseeing the day-to-day cashiering, operations and services, performing administrative duties as assigned, and completing assigned managerial responsibilities in the manager's absence.
The incumbent will have a proven record of providing excellent customer service to complex situations to internal and external customers, possess excellent multi-tasking and communications skills, have a team-oriented approach, and be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Salary commensurate with experience.
