The Polish Community Center of Albany is advertising for an experienced professional Sales
Representative to book events and increase our sales capacity. The primary functions the Center involves itself with are weddings, banquets, showers, trade shows, business meetings and
various other typical social activities. Applicants should be knowledgeable in pricing of these types of events on a large scale, as well as alcohol and food costs, menu preparation and waitstaff service.
The Sales Representative will be located in the office of the Center for a minimum of 30 hours per week, accepting phone calls, responding to e-mails, working on contracts and encouraging sponsors of events with suggestions and assistance, thus creating options to develop business growth. He or she must be present during any function that may have booked, as well as utilizing time outside of the office to meet with potential clients, always responding in a positive manner, thereby providing a welcoming atmosphere.
Compensation will be on a salary basis (negotiable based on experience) and commission, which will be earned per event booked. Interested applicants may address their cover letter and resume to the Board of Directors.
