CEA is seeking to hire a senior level Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs.This role serves on the Executive CEA Leadership Team and is responsible for leading the strategy for and management of the Academic Affairs team. Additionally this senior leader provides academic vision and guidance to program site leadership around the world and works to build consistency in academic program design and delivery. The EVP of Academic Affairs oversees all School of Record partnerships and is responsible for the innovative development of these partnerships. This role supports the University Relations team in engaging US university leadership, building partnerships and enhancing the visibility of CEA’s programs and academic competencies. Finally, this position reflects CEA’s heightened commitment to academic excellence, rigor and transparency in both its programs abroad and academic administration.

Experience Requirements:
Earned doctorate (preferably Ph.D.) and significant combination of academic and business career experience is required.
10+ years of professional academic experience in higher education with a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated senior academic administrative experience preferably at the Associate Dean, Dean, Department Head, or higher level at a degree granting institution of higher education
Extensive knowledge of and participation in the study abroad field, its professional associations and research or advocacy.
Hands-on experience in international academic management including study abroad programs, program development, design and operations.
Experience developing and implementing assessment for student academic outcomes.
Demonstrated experience in developing a long-term vision for a school or academic division; developing and executing the strategic plan to achieve that vision.
Proven management experience including: budgeting, staff oversight, department planning and quality control.
Proven experience driving educational technology and process development including integrating innovative technologies into both curricular and administrative systems.
Record of demonstrated teaching experience working with U.S. students on a home campus or overseas university site.
Proven ability to negotiate and collaborate with diverse constituencies.
Strong familiarity with U.S. accreditation and assessment practices.
A commitment to multicultural and global diversity.
Fluency in at least one foreign language and extended period of study/work/living abroad in a foreign country.
