Accounting / Human Resources Assistant
Compensation: Starting pay is competitive and dependent upon experience.

NW Phoenix company is seeking an Accounting / Human Resources Assistant. The person applying for this position should have a background in Accounting with some Human Resources experience a plus.
Job Duties: Under the supervision of the Accounts Manager/Human Resources, the Accounting / Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for:
Accounting: * reconciling bank accounts * reconciling credit card merchant accounts * assist with accounts receivables and accounts payables * assist with preparations of month-end, quarterly and annual reports * assist with budgeting forecasts * assist with tracking project expenses * other accounting duties as required.
Human Resources: * assist with processing payroll * assist with new hire / termination procedures * assist with benefits reconciliations * assist with insurance credentialing of medical providers * other duties as assigned.
Accounting: Associates degree in accounting with some experience OR minimum three years on the job experience preferably in a medical environment, performing similar accounting duties. Hospice Billing experience a plus.
Human Resources: At least one - two years experience in all aspects of HR would be helpful. Medical Provider and/or Facility credentialing experience is a big plus.
Software: Must be highly proficient in QuickBooks accounting program, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat.
