The Dominick is looking for a Human Resources Manager with strong hospitality experience to round out the Human Resources Team.
Job Requirements
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
Ensure that the application, screening, interview, and hiring process for all candidates is carried out in accordance with hotel policy and procedures.
Identify and coordinate training sources that address the hotel's training needs
Complete and maintain current records on a competitive wage and benefits survey for all hotel positions.
Investigate, complete documentation, and coordinate worker's compensation procedures are implemented in accordance with our standards.
Complete designated forms required by local/state/federal government and maintain on file the breakdown of all related benefit costs.
Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and hotel records.
Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale.
Develop and implement training programs that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
Assess employee development needs through performance appraisals and feedback from managers and employees.
Coordinate and conduct training sessions on a variety of topics, such as leadership development, communication skills, and diversity and inclusion.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and modify as necessary to improve outcomes.
Job Requirements
Essential:
1. College degree.
2. At least 2 years experience as a Human Resources Manager.
3. Knowledge of government labor regulations.
4. Computer literate.
5. Compute accurate mathematical calculations.
6. Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
7. Ability to:
· enforce hotel's standards, policies, and procedures with hotel staff.
· prioritize and organize.
· be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
· follow directions thoroughly.
· understand guest’s service needs.
