Position Information

The Analyst develops marketing and communications strategies as part of an integrated customer engagement and PR plan to support Southwest Gas’ overall marketing goals and objectives. This position requires integrated marketing experience that includes digital marketing, advertising, direct marketing, events and promotions. The Analyst works with internal departments, as well as vendors, industry contacts, and customers. The successful candidate is a critical thinker with strong business acumen; the analyst must have an understanding of business strategies and be able to interpret them into creative marketing and communications initiatives that support Company goals.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing plans in line with Company’s overall marketing strategy
Implement customer engagement campaigns by seamlessly integrating digital channels with other traditional channels.
Lead inter-departmental project teams and manage multiple marketing campaigns with tight deadlines.
Measure and evaluate the effective of campaigns. Prepare management reports leveraging research data and analytics.
Write brochures, press releases and other communication materials, distilling complex issues into simple messages for target markets.
Consult with management and internal customers on message creation and content optimization, leveraging traditional and digital marketing platforms to help them achieve business goals.
Leverage SEM, SEO, eCRM (email, SMS Text, Push, etc.), display advertising, digital partnerships, social media and other existing and new opportunities across web, mobile, and other developing channels to accomplish engagement goals.
Minimum Qualifications
Analyst I

This position requires one to three years of relevant work experience plus a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.

Analyst II

This position requires three to five years of relevant work experience plus a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.

Analyst III

This position requires four to six years of relevant work experience plus a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.
