D3 Air and Space Operations has contingincy openings for Special Activities Planner's in the National Capitol Region.

Estimated Salary: $153,972.00
The contractor personnel shall provide support in the planning and execution of operations by drafting and maintaining currency of policies, programs, and other regulatory documents. The Contractor shall assist with conducting conferences, working groups, and organizational meetings. The Contractor shall support mission requirements and advise senior leadership on issues to tailor J39-SAB planning efforts, and include tasks such as:
Coordinate staff actions that ensure integration between theater SOF, National Mission Force, operational capabilities, and critical enablers.
Draft, edit, and review strategy and guidance to facilitate coordination across the SOF enterprise; including synchronizing, prioritizing and assessing SOF operations, activities, and actions; and supporting the development of capabilities within an established HQ USSOCOM framework.
Prepare, edit, review, staff, and provide recommendations for SOF specific plans, policies, documents, and technical data for briefings and action.
Facilitate, coordinate, and conduct conferences, working groups, and organizational meetings to support mission planning objectives and directed tasks.
Establish and maintain liaison contacts within USSOCOM and the other COCOMs, military service communities, non-DOD agencies, as well as the JS and the OSD.
Facilitate, participate, support and attend meetings, build briefings, report results, and assist with follow-up on J39-SAB action items.
Draft branch and sequel plans supporting CONOPS and orders.
Assist the government in conceptualizing, executing, and conducting AARs of SOF activities.
Maintain awareness, oversight and support of SOF operations, activities and investments (OAIs), and recommend measures of effectiveness and measures of performance.
Draft, edit, review, and staff key USSOCOM documents for government approval to provide relevant resourcing, training, and strategy development to J39 leadership.
Utilize knowledge, background, and /or understanding of SOF operations, acquisition and industry capabilities in order to prepare and present related briefings, AARs, and white papers designed to inform senior leaders and facilitate working groups.
Develop and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact, to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholders.
