The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, documenting, testing, creating, implementing, and maintaining enterprise applications at Tinuiti. They will be a part of a scrum team and work closely with product managers to build features and solutions that create value for our customers and for the business.
Collaborate with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts to develop new and innovative analytics and optimization products
Deliver integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
Work with team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code
Implement unit/integration tests and meet quality requirements
Maintain and improve the performance of existing software
Design and develop distributed components of our internal analytics and advertising systems
Contribute to continuous improvements to the team's processes, methodologies, and technologies
Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues
Brainstorm with product management and partner teams about new ideas, technical design and project plans
Four-year degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
1+ years experience with Ruby.
Hands-on experience writing command-line apps using Ruby libraries
Expertise in Rails
Ability to develop highly interactive as well as user-friendly applications
Work in an agile environment within a cross-functional and globally distributed team, including offshore partners.
Experience with AWS and/or GCP.
Experience with Google BigQuery.
Proficient with SQL.
Sound knowledge of object-oriented design and analysis
Experience with at least one of the following source code management tools (Git, Github, Gitlab).
Experience with Docker.
Nice to haves:
AWS or GCP certification.
Python, Snowflake, and Kubernetes
Knowledge of the marketing industry.
Proven ability to solve complex problems and deal with ambiguous requirements
Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
Action-Oriented: Enjoys working hard, full of energy for new challenges, seizes opportunity
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
Ability to work in a team
