Job Overview:
As a Mail Carrier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of mail and packages to rural areas. Your responsibilities will include sorting and organizing mail, interacting with customers in a professional manner, and following designated routes to guarantee timely deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver mail and packages to rural areas using a company vehicle
- Sort and organize mail and packages for efficient delivery
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure punctual deliveries
- Adhere to all safety regulations while operating company vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles
- Previous experience as a courier or in a similar delivery role is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Familiarity with tractor-trailers, box trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks is beneficial
- Capability to load and unload heavy items as required
