This engineering position at Beauflor USA, a leading manufacturer of resilient flooring, requires 2 or more years of work experience in a plant environment. Therefore, Beauflor USA is looking for an ambitious engineer who enthusiastically wishes to step into our RED (Research Engineering Development) team to help with continuous innovation and expansion.
Functional Responsibilities (Functions / results include but not limited to)
As a member of Group RED (Research Engineering Development), you will be participating in ambitious process and product development projects. You will be responsible for:
- Mapping and analyzing the production processes by examining production parameters (ensuring input of various departments)
- Developing methods to improve and optimize the quality and output
- Testing and evaluating improvement proposals in a cost-effective and efficient manner, and, if testing is positive, coordinating their implementation into production
- Work closely with the Quality, Maintenance and Production departments to implement improvements.
- Assuring that Quality Control procedures are being implemented, overseeing content of ISO procedures, work instructions and documents within your department
- Contributing to the development of new products, in close collaboration with Operations and RED Team members
- Participate, along with other process development engineers, in the “Competency Development Program,” exchanging ideas and following industry trends, methods, and options regarding technical processes, procedures and programs, and on analysis methodologies
- Participate in training for soft skills development, including communication, collaboration, managerial competencies.
Profile (Qualifications)
- BS or MS in Process, Materials, Textile or Chemical Engineering
- Strong interest in production environment, and techniques which further innovation and excellence
- Dynamic and innovative personality, results-driven, hands-on, and capable of creating or optimizing unique methods of achieving outcomes
- 2-3 years’ experience in production / R&D environment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Language: English fluency required. Familiarity with Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to travel internationally, with willingness to train in Belgium for up to 3 weeks during the initial training period.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $88,424.95 per year
