Senior Software Developer
Position Overview:

My client is seeking a talented Senior .NET Developer with a strong background in backend development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL Server, WCF, WinForms, and WPF, and will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems. This position requires a deep understanding of .NET technologies and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs using .NET technologies.
Database Management: Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, transactional based systems, and database schema in SQL Server.
Application Development: Build and enhance WinForms and WPF applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Architecture: Designed and implemented scalable software architecture and design patterns to optimize performance, maintainability, and extensibility across multiple applications and clients.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, including code reviews and best practice recommendations.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs in a timely manner.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, project managers, business analysts, and clients to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for systems, processes, and applications.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies and apply this knowledge to improve development processes and practices.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in .NET development with a focus on backend systems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in .NET Core and .NET Framework.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Solid knowledge of WinForms and WPF for building and maintaining desktop applications.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and WCF web services.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable: Experience with AWS, localization, and modern DevOps practices is a plus.
