Reporting to the Director of the Office of Professionalism, provides administrative oversight for day-to-day operations and for data analytics to track and improve the performance standards around professionalism in all departments.
- Collects and maintains data used to track professionalism lapses, designing queries, managing data dictionaries and developing business intelligence to meet the needs of reporting.
- Develop and distribute reports, prepares standard scheduled reports, and maintains a catalog of reports for distribution. Responsible for documenting the processes and procedures for reporting.
- Makes recommendations for standardization and provides database solutions where applicable.
- Monitors levels of professionalism as measured by patient feedback, staff feedback, and direct observation. Recommends strategies that are responsive to professionalism needs.
- Manages relationships with Office of Professionalism contributors and provides oversight of vetting process for awards and promotions in collaboration Human Resources and External Affairs.
- Communicates with leadership about professionalism priorities and departmental performance.
- Develops detailed professionalism plans in collaboration with departmental leadership. Builds relationships with faculty and staff leaders.
- Provides education and develops training modules on professionalism standards.
- Sets up meetings, schedules educational and remediation sessions.
- Oversees and manages updates to Office of Professionalism website on Weill Cornell Central.
- Updates WCM policy content related to professionalism.
- Tracks overall progress for multiple departmental projects involving professionalism activities. Coordinates departmental, institutional, and external resources in service to professionalism goals.
- Oversees Clinical Scholars Program for the Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
3+ years of increasing levels of experience and responsibility in healthcare, including extensive client-facing relationship management.
- Strong background in developing trust and confidence in relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with and present to clinical staff and physicians.
- Highly developed organizational and planning skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
