Senior Vice President of Development

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a large, geographically and culturally diverse team of highly effective software professionals, with 12 direct reports and a staff of over 200.
Work closely with Product Management teams to reach agreement on software development priorities and convert them into concrete plans with defined software releases delivered on a regular cadence.
Work with other technical leaders across the company to ensure software solutions are delivered as promised and meet the customization needs of project engineering teams.
Work collaboratively with senior executives across the company, supporting sales, engineering and customer service efforts as required.
Lead teams developing a world class software which can scale to support the requirements of a wide array of customer scenarios.
Lead a team responsible for developing a rich cloud platform to simplify the task of developing and deploying cloud-based applications.
Lead a team responsible for the development of cloud-based solutions including Analytics, Asset and Alert/Maintenance Management solutions.

What We Are Looking ForEducation & Experience Requirements:
20+ years of software development and software management experience, with 10+ years of directly applicable experience at an executive level within a software R&D environment
Proven experience effectively leading software development teams of 200+ across multiple countries and cultures.
Several years of proven experience delivering large scale, enterprise, mission critical software solutions.
Bachelors and/or Post Graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Solid understanding of a wide array of software technologies including C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and associated build tools including Jenkins, Maven, Git, Gitlab, etc.
Deep understanding and experience of Agile Development methodologies.
A background and experience in logistics and automation is a significant asset.
Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external and competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions.
Demonstrated ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of leaders including internal stakeholders, customers and vendors and be seen as a trusted software expert.
Ability to effectively create a collaborative, team oriented environment including mentoring and motivating team members to be accountable for results.
Demonstrated ability to innovate and create strategies that significantly improve practices that enable the organization to achieve business and technical results.
