We are seeking a Personnel Coordinator to join our team in our League City, TX location. The Personnel Coordinator performs a wide array of administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource functions to include, but not limited to, new hires, on-boarding, compliance and policy/procedure administration, benefits and payroll coordination as well as general office support.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with 2-3 years’ experience in a office environment while managing confidential information.
Must be organized with the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and be able to multitask while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. Must be adept at communication with a broad range of individuals and possess excellent customer service skills. Must be able to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with HRIS software packages preferred.
Schedule and coordinate on-site job interviews with candidates. Track applicants through recruitment process. Track and process employee referrals. Process offer letters. Prepare New Hire Orientation packets.
Participates in new hire orientation; collects and reviews new hire paperwork and required substantiating documentation; follows-up with employees as required. Process all pre-employment screenings and ensures completion of screening prior to the hire. Assist team members and managers with human resource, benefit, and payroll inquiries.
Assist team members with policy, personnel and performance related questions. Help coordinate the efforts of FMLA administration. Process all paperwork related to new hires, status changes, and terminations. Assist with annual open enrollment activities. Provides administrative support to the office.
