Full Job Description
Provide administrative support to all Law Department Staff and Board of Governors. Insure that Law Department project deadlines are tracked and suspense dates met. Provide administrative support to the Corporate officers as to the meetings of the Board of Governors and its Committees.
Maintain and manage Law Department files.
Insure Law Department assignment deadlines and suspense dates are provided to Law Department staff in a timely and ongoing manner.
Perform daily functions including answering the phone, maintaining the departmental calendar, making travel arrangements, handling the mail and ordering office supplies.
Track outside counsel invoices and report to departmental staff budget variances.
Assure that required documents are entered into the Central Files
Maintain state and local doing business filings and private investigator licenses.
Maintain insurance policies file and obtain coverage on vehicles utilized in Area investigations.
Track Department priorities, and apprise individuals of suspense dates.
Board of Governors and Committee Meetings:
Arrange meeting sites for Board of Governors and Committee meetings and other meetings as required.
Insure that meeting briefing materials are collated and distributed timely prior to the meetings.
Take meeting notes of all Board and Committee meetings and prepare draft minutes.

Education, Work Experience, Licensure:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Speed writing, shorthand or court reporting
Paralegal experienced preferred
Type 60 wpm
Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency
This position has no direct reports.
All levels of employees within NICB, member companies, including Board members and outside counsel.
Possible limited overnight travel
Normal office conditions
Ability to lift 25 pounds
