Program Management Intern/Co Op – Klune North Hollywood

Klune North Hollywod is a manufacturer of sheet metal parts for the Commercial and Military Aerospace industries.
The Program Management Intern/Co OP, will work with the Program Management Team to support Product Introduction (NPI), Contract Review, ERP status reports, and Customer Interactions.
We are looking for a recent graduate or 3/4th year student who is interested in learning about Program Management.
This is non exempt paid hourly position. Minimum requirement of 30 hours worked per week.
The Program Management Intern/Co Op will report to the Director of Program Management
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The Program Management Intern will learn the practical application of:
Communicate with Assigned Customers throughout the product life cycle to include RFQ,Bid Process, Program Scope & Design, 1st Article, Implementation
Periodic reports of ongoing performance against project plan metrics
Receive & Coordinate responses/bids for new Business RFQs
Work with other groups/stakeholders to understand, define, prioritize, and develop manufacturing programs as defined by the business requirements and the budget process.
Actively participates in the key planning of program milestones, key goals, objectives, and success, and drive alignment to these project goals
Work with the Production Control and Manufacturing Leadership teams to identify and schedule all the work required to fulfill program scope, including identification and management of critical path tasks.
Work with senior staff members and core team to identify and analyze risks
Populate data and run reports from ERP System (Syteline)
Track and manage the program schedule and task details included in the
Analyze the actual performance against the plan and make
adjustments consistent with plan objectives.
Ensure program milestones are accomplished and ensures overall timelines are met.
Communicate updates on major milestones and keeps all stakeholders
informed of progress and issues.
Participate in Continuous Improvement projects throughout the organization using Lean, CI and Six Sigma principles
Develop visual adult training materials for production personnel
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
Engineering or Science Degree
Proficiency with ERP Systems and Microsoft office products
Interest and aptitute to work in the Aerospace Manufacturing field.
Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people
Strong customer service skills
Problem solving capabilities necessary to accomplish the duties and tasks of the position
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
